Making your own Perfumes Brand seems Glorious and Fun as Hell!, Don't get me wrong it is... if you're a Established Influencer that is! Here is the lists of Pros and Cons of making a Perfumes Brand!.

The weirdest part of owning a Perfumes Brand is that you don't realize how hard it is to convince people to buy perfumes from a website, Why would they buy your perfumes? if we see Dior's Website you will realize There's no copywriting at all!.

It Doesn't have anything that the normal Ecommerce Guru's push like: Copywriting, Landing Pages, Ads.. Hell they don't even have a Email Newsletter!!

This is an example of a SaaS Company so it's not the same But, that's the point! there is no Measurement or Websites to replicate and to learn from.

Most Perfumes brand don't play on the same ground field of SaaS and other Clothing E-commerce Websites.

2. There's Always A Better Perfume Then Yours

Marketing your perfumes as "The best Scented" which is the traditional way of marketing Fragrances, is very dumb and destructive nowadays, since People on Instagram and i cannot say this more gently: THEY CANNOT SMELL THE PERFUME FROM THE SCREEN!!

Solution?:

Very important to Focus on Brand Identity, so you can build a brand and not a business that targets a specific Target Audience, doing this will make people Visitors feel special and Targeted which will make you be able to Mark up your prices a lot higher then the typical business, which means you will thrive in a growing market while other business will die off.

Example? Naem Al Oud!.. Hear me out, Take Cardio Perfume From Naem Al Oud, our brand might not be Targeting the Fitness People (I don't know what they're called), but our product which is the perfume Targets them!

It's very important to realize that it is INJUSTICE to you and to your business to have a low price range, Why? aside from the most important point which is finance

imagine you buy a perfume that will last you 4 - 6 months but you have bought it at 20 AED (5$ dollars), would you honestly use it? 

NO! you don't have a Emotional connection to the product rather then the Bulgari LE Gemme Perfume that costs you over 1,000+ AED (400$ Dollars).

Its not about the Scent, Its About The Brand.

3. Marketing? LMAO.

So we've Established that it's important to focus on Branding And Targeting a niche audience, now what?.

Now you pick the type of content that you want to make, Yes you have to make content. You don't need to be a full blown goofy youtuber, but you should be making Blog posts (IMO is the best one) that relates to your industry.

Perfumes Industry is very hard to make content on, since we're used to see posts about Solving problems and fulfilling the information gap to gain customers and clients...

However, in the Cosmetics Industry, it's more like Recycling what is happening in this exciting industry, like New perfumes and Celebrities and Influencers opinions on them.

 

Our Blog at Naem Al oud Perfumes, We're trying to break that Generic newsletters and blogs that doesn't really give you any Value outside the perfumes industry, for example. In this post you have learned Branding, a brief explanation of course, but none the less you're learning something instead of trying to make you another consumer which a lot of these blogs promote!
